Lay clients, professional clients and licensed access clients may contact us for a written quotation. Fixed fees are used for the published scopes below; hourly or staged fees may be proposed where the work does not fit a fixed scope.

VAT is shown separately and is payable where applicable. “From” fees and ranges reflect differences in complexity, volume of papers, urgency, hearing length, location and the work already completed by the client or another adviser.
What the quotation will say
Before work begins, the written quotation or client care letter will identify the work included, the fee and VAT treatment, the likely timescale, who will carry out the work, and any known additional costs. Work starts only after suitability and conflict checks and written engagement terms.
Additional costs
Court or tribunal fees, expert fees, interpreters, travel outside the agreed area, couriers and other third-party disbursements are not included unless the quotation says otherwise. If such a cost may be required, the quotation will give the known amount or a reasonable estimate and explain what it covers.
Timescales
Discrete reviews and drafting work are scheduled after the required information has been received and the engagement terms are agreed. The delivery date is confirmed in writing. Appeals and court proceedings also depend on external listing and decision timetables and can take several months. Urgency, missing documents, changes in instructions, translation or expert evidence, and third-party or tribunal delays can affect the timetable.

- Suitability, conflicts and deadline check.
- Decision and evidence review; written scope and fee.
- Grounds, evidence plan and appeal preparation under the agreed scope.
- Conference and hearing preparation where included.
- Representation and post-hearing advice where included.
The tribunal controls the hearing date and decision timetable. Asylum appeals and unusually complex or urgent cases may fall outside the published indicative scope.
