Booking Policy

  1. Appointment Requests: Clients may request appointments
    through our online system.
  2. Confirmation: Appointment requests are provisional until
    confirmed by us via email, subject to barrister availability.
  3. Fees:
    • Consultation Fees: Fees for initial consultations are payable
      upon confirmation of the appointment.
    • Refunds: Consultation fees are non-refundable, as permitted
      by the BSB Handbook, which allows barristers to accept non-
      refundable fees for services rendered.
  4. Cancellations and Rescheduling:
      • By Client: Clients may request to reschedule appointments
        with at least 48 hours’ notice.
      • By Chambers: In rare circumstances, we may need to
        reschedule confirmed appointments due to unforeseen events.
  5. No Walk-ins: We operate strictly by appointment only and do not
    accommodate walk-in visitors.
  6. Professional Conduct Compliance: Our booking procedures
    comply with the BSB Handbook, ensuring that client funds are
    handled appropriately and that non-refundable fees are permissible
    under professional conduct rules.
  7. Terms and Conditions: All appointments are subject to our full
    terms and conditions, which will be provided upon booking
    confirmation.

Our approach ensures clarity and transparency for clients while adhering
to the regulatory requirements set forth by the Bar Standards Board.
